Reejob Protocol

Version 1.0 · Built on Solana · Last updated 2026

01

Abstract

Reejob is a Web3-native freelance marketplace built on Solana. It connects verified freelancers with crypto teams and secures every engagement through non-custodial, on-chain escrow. This paper outlines the platform's architecture, escrow mechanism, fee model, and trust guarantees.

02

The problem

Web3 hiring is fragmented and high-risk. Talent is scattered across Discord and Telegram, payments rely on trust between anonymous parties, and legacy freelance platforms charge 20%+ fees while holding funds for weeks. There is no neutral, crypto-native layer that protects both sides of a deal.

03

The solution

Reejob provides a single marketplace with verified profiles, direct messaging, and an escrow smart contract that holds funds until work is approved. Payment releases automatically on approval — instantly, on-chain, with no intermediary controlling the money.

04

Escrow architecture

When a client funds a job, the agreed amount in SOL or USDC is locked in a Solana program (Anchor-based). Both parties can verify the locked balance on-chain. Release requires client approval; disputes follow a defined resolution path. The platform never takes custody of funds.

05

Fee model

Reejob charges a transparent 10% platform fee paid by the client on top of the service price. Freelancers receive 100% of their quoted amount. There are no hidden deductions, withdrawal fees, or payment holds.

06

Verification & trust

Freelancers are vetted on portfolio, past work, and on-chain history before accepting jobs. Reviews are tied to completed, paid orders — making reputation unfakeable and portable across the platform.

07

Supported assets

SOL and USDC are supported at launch, settling instantly on Solana. Additional SPL tokens may be added based on community demand.

08

Roadmap

Phase 1: marketplace, profiles, escrow, payments. Phase 2: dispute resolution tooling, team accounts, and reputation scoring. Phase 3: expanded token support, on-chain identity, and ecosystem integrations.
